An Antepartum RN is responsible for aiding in the evaluation and administration of obstetrical patients. You will work in hand with Labor and Delivery RNs to plan the implementation of specialized care for pregnant women who are at risk before, during and after child birth.
As an An Antepartum Registered Nurse your duties will include:
Evaluating the health of the mother to be and the fetus to identify any complications.
Anticipate possible problems and preventing them when they are able to.
Instructing and giving information for the patient to completely help them for giving birth to their new child.
One year of experience as a Antepartum Nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
