An Intermediate Care RN is responsible for the care of patients with non-life threatening, but usually very serious symptoms who need advanced assessment and intensive interventions.
As an ICRN some of your responsibilities consist of:
First patient assessment.
Write customized care plan based on the patient's condition.
Working with the physicians to perform medication treatments.
Continuing evaluations as needed based on the patient's condition.
Document all patient assessment findings, feedback to procedures and the patient's overall progress.
Summarize all patient information to the appropriate teams by the end of each shift.
One year of experience as an Intermediate Care Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
