A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse manages the general care of infants and children experiencing serious health troubles that must have constant monitoring. Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RNs play a significant part in recognizing any changes in the patient’s condition.
As a PICU Registered nurse your responsibilities include
Administering patient assessments.
Doing necessary treatments as recommended by the doctor.
Ensuring that the patient’s physical and emotional needs are met.
Giving physicals and testing for illnesses.
One year of experience as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
