Emergency Room RNs assist patients who are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Room RNs need to have the ability to rapidly identify life-threatening complications while staying professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room RNs your duties include:
Managing time and having the ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Supplying prescribed medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples if needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
