Emergency Nurses provide care for patients who are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to have the ability to immediately identify life-threatening complications while remaining professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are stable and managing any pain in an intense setting.
Supplying prescribed medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly take vitals and other samples if necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room RN within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
