The Orthopedic RN is responsible for the care of patients that suffer from musculoskeletal diseases. It is crucial for Orthopedic Registered Nurses to be compassionate for the patient's they are working with and ensure the patient is receiving the best health care plan available.
As a Orthopedic Registered Nurse your duties consist of:
Helping the patient while they recover by offering standard mobility and strength tactics.
Educating the patient and their families on musculoskeletal disorders and diseases and how to deal with them.
Helping the physicians while performing medical procedures if needed.
One year of experience as a Orthopedic Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
