The Orthopedic Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care for patients that are suffering from musculoskeletal disorders and diseases. It is a must for Orthopedic Registered Nurses to be understanding of the patient's they are working with and ensure the patient is receiving the best health care plan available.
As a Orthopedic Nurse your duties consist of:
Assisting the patient in their recovery process by providing standard mobility and strength tactics.
Informing patients and their family members on musculoskeletal disorders and how to cope with them.
Helping the physicians while performing medical procedures if necessary.
One year of experience as a Orthopedic Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
