Cardiology Nurses treat patients who suffer from vascular and heart diseases. They will frequently teach patients on coping with new lifestyle methods and preventative measures in order to further minimize cardiovascular and pulmonary risks.
As a Cardiology Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
Conducting varying health evaluations and giving the appropriate care based on test results.
Monitoring and documenting the patient’s vascular and cardiac patterns, as well as recording EKG results.
Informing patients and their families on how to deal with heart disease, while giving them emotional support.
One year of experience as a Cardiology nurses within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
