Emergency Room Nurses help people that are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room RNs need to be able to immediately identify life-threatening problems while staying calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are stable and managing any pain in an intense setting.
Providing prescribed medications while checking for any allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples when necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
