Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening medical conditions. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses must have the ability to make quick and spot on decisions while keeping composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.
Medical Transitional Care Unit, 12 hours shifts/Nights - 36 hours per week., No Call, weekend rotation every third weekend.
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses duties include:
Analyzing the patient's progress.
Following the correct process if there are any changes in the patient's condition.
Assisting doctors with procedures.
Ensuring all medical devices are functioning properly while caring for the patient.
Administering needed medication in a fast moving, highly stressful environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.
