Emergency Room Registered Nurses provide care for people that are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Nurses need to have the ability to quickly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room Nurses your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make rapid, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are stable and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Giving medications while checking for allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly obtain vitals and other health samples if necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
