Job Description

Long Term Care Nurses generally work in healthcare facilities, convalescent homes, hospice or assisted-living centers. Long Term Care Nurses need to be comfortable assessing patients, developing care plans for patients, giving guidance and set up treatment schedules for the patients. A Long Term Care RN typically observes the work of a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Long Term Care, 7p-7a, No Call, Every Other Weekend.

Responsibilities

As a Long Term Care RN your duties include:
  • Checking the condition and the vital signs of patients.
  • Logging records for the facility.
  • Completing care plans.
  • Overseeing aides and assistants as they assist patient's every day needs.

Requirements

BLS must be AHA,IV Certification Required
