The Home Health RN is responsible for providing top notch health care for the elderly or people with disabilities, in the patient’s home. Home Health Nurse will regularly help the patient with day to day tasks that they can no longer do on their own.
As a Home Health Nurse your responsibilities include:
Assisting the patient with eating, bathing, getting dressed, and other areas they struggle with.
Delivering prescribed medications and logging the patient's vitals on a scheduled basis.
Provide the patient with diet and exercise plans to best fit their current health status and monitor their daily results.
Take patients to and from doctor appointments.
One year of experience as a Home Health Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
