A Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse evaluates and executes necessary health care for patients before, during, and after the operation. CVOR Nurse play an important role in assisting doctors during varying types of procedures in the cardiovascular operating area.
As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
Creating a sterile and safe surgical environment for patients.
Assessing patient’s condition.
Carrying out patient care plans.
Assisting doctors during procedures to make certain that medical devices are functioning properly.
Overseeing the condition of the patient during and after the operation.
Informing the patient and their family members about ongoing needs and care of the patient to make certain they recover quickly and do so comfortably.
One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
