Emergency Room RNs assist people who are experiencing critical trauma or injuries. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to be able to immediately identify life-threatening problems while staying calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are stable and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving prescribed medications while reviewing their records for any allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly take vitals and other samples when needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
