The Home Health RN is responsible for providing exceptional care for the elderly or disabled, in the patient’s home. Home Health Registered Nurse will generally assist the patient with daily tasks that they can no longer perform on their own.
As a Home Health RN your responsibilities include:
Assisting the patient with eating, taking baths, getting dressed, and other areas they struggle with.
Delivering medications and recording the patient's vitals on a regular basis.
Provide patients with diet and exercise plans that fit their current health condition and check their daily results.
Transport patients to and from physician appointments.
One year of experience as a Home Health Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
Missouri is the "Show Me" state and it has lots to show great nurses such as yourself. Missouri is a microcosm of America with lots of arts, culture, fine dining and nightlife in the big cities and natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities in the the rest of the state.
The middle of Missouri is full of natural beauty. The Lake of the Ozarks is a great place for boating, skiing or enjoying a few days of at one of the many resorts surrounding it. Ha Ha Tonka is a spectacular hiking spot (with a deserted castle) and Missouri features some spectacular caves, including Bridal Cave, also in the Ozarks.
Even further south is the entertainment destination of Branson and Silver Dollar City. Missouri definitely has something to "show" to registered nurses.
