The Orthopedic RN is responsible for taking care of patients that suffer from musculoskeletal diseases. It is necessary for Orthopedic RNs to be compassionate for the patient's they are working with and make certain the patient is being provided with the best health care plan possible.
As a Orthopedic RN your responsibilities consist of:
Helping the patient in their recovery process by providing standard mobility and strength tactics.
Informing patients and their families on musculoskeletal disorders and diseases and how to deal with them.
Assisting the doctors while performing medical procedures if required.
One year of experience as a Orthopedic RN within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
