Job Description

Emergency Room RNs assist people that are experiencing critical trauma or injuries. Emergency Nurses need to be able to quickly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RNs your duties include:
  • Managing time and possessing ability to make rapid, accurate assessments.
  • Making sure patients are in stable condition and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
  • Providing prescribed medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
  • Quickly obtain vitals and other samples when necessary.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
  • Active RN License in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
